There are better ways to introduce yourself to your creations, but I’m not sure if lighting shrubbery on fire is one.
anyway I’ve been practicing like mad and I’m getting more control with the tablet. If this rate of improvement lasts I should be able to draw as good with the tablet as I can on paper in a week or so. Not that I can draw very well on paper. It will mean I can start experimenting with different ways to outline characters, as well as a few other things which should make it look cleaner overall. Today for example I was playing around with the inking tool which I think might give a smother line then the brush. I still need to find a way to compensate for not having a perfectly steady hand of course.
