A meta flavored webcomic with no 4th wall and a plot about a webcomic actress and the challenges she has to face. You know imaginary scripts, unreliable narrators, plot holes, meta walls, wacky physics, mad science, and budget cuts. Updates Thursdays!
So I went rereading to try and figure out:
a) Where the corner of The Other Side and Coincidence is (I was wondering if it was the corner this coffee shop’s on, and hence perhaps this shop was called The Nick of Time)
b) Why Robin was so shocked by the time… Or if it was by the fact that they’d be bringing an armoured truck. (Which you’re going to have lots of fun drawing, I bet. 😉 )
Instead I found out why she was talking about the convoluted clues in the first place. After I’d closed the relevant page.
the back alley behind Sparky’s lab is on back ally & Coincidence st. so Robin is presumably asking them to meet her around the front/other side. which by coincidence is also on coincidence street, and you know thanks to physics too i guess maintaining the same building on the same street from different ends.
I think i was too realistic with the responce time so shortened it form twenty minutes to five. hopefuly now it’s in doubt whether Robin will be able to make it back even if she runs the whole way.
As for the vague clues: Robin is straight up lying. Since Mr. Moore doesn’t know all the details of Charity’s kidnapping he assumed she was taken without witnesses same as last time. For some reason, Robin choose to conceal the fact that she not only saw Charity taken, knows who did it, where he is, and of course why she was targeted in the first place.
PS I do like the nick of time joke, and had originally planned on making some sort of joke based on the coffee shop’s name but when I was laying out the page I couldn’t have the sign just around the corner with enough of a witty name visible to have it still obvious that it was a coffee shop. So it got called Coffee, or at least my options for a witty name have to start with that.

Last line of the last panel. She won’t mention her involvement in getting Charity kidnapped, because she’s learning to take note of what you say.
