Well, obviously. “Chalk hammerspace” is a given for protagonists, even those not in fantasy or meta settings.
ED: It’s just that in such cases they usually choose not to exercise it, because that would be breaking the immersion.
Robin not using it much probably has more to do with laziness than a conscious choice to protect reader immersion.
Well yeah, she’s in a meta setting. It doesn’t break immersion here.
