Books Don't Work Here

It took longer than expected to get this page edited on the computer. I am still new to gimp so I must have been doing something wrong but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what. One time X worded and in the next panel it didn’t. At one point every time I tried to move panel 3 it kept moving panel 2 instead. Eventually, I got it to move 1 and 2 and I did it backwards. Anyway after all that and the problems with the new half backgrounds I figured out I wasn’t going to have enough room for text in panel 2. normally I would mess with the size of the figure and make room but I didn’t want to spend another hour working at it when it was this late already. Hopefully, I did something to the panels and it wont happen with the next comic and I put the text where I want. For now though I get to see if the text is readable over a character or if it is too distracting. I kind of wanted to obscure her shirt anyway and I can read the text but I already know what it says. Let me know what you think if its not too much trouble. If it is then thank you for just reading the comic thanks to you I made a new record of page views for father’s day.
